Project Overview
PSG Energy Services partnered with JPMorgan Chase Bank and JLL to integrate rooftop solar into new bank branch construction across the Midwest, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic. The ongoing program covers more than 100 locations east of the Mississippi River, with additional projects entering the pipeline.
The Challenge
Chase needed a repeatable way to incorporate renewable energy into new branches across several regions without delaying construction schedules or planned openings. Each location presented different rooftop conditions, permitting requirements, utility interconnection processes, and labor considerations.
The Solution
PSG manages solar projects from design and engineering through drawings, permitting, utility interconnection, rooftop installation, and commissioning. Coordinating with construction teams across union and non-union sites, PSG can often complete installation within five business days after permits are approved.
Client Objectives
1
Expand rooftop solar across a growing network of new branches.
2
Coordinate design, permitting, and installation across multiple regions.
3
Support predictable branch openings with efficient project delivery.
Highlights
Turnkey Solar Delivery
PSG manages the design, engineering, permitting, interconnection, installation, and commissioning process.
Multi-Region Coordination
One repeatable delivery approach supports projects across different regions, site layouts, and labor environments.
Construction Schedule Integration
Rapid mobilization after approvals helps keep solar installation aligned with new branch construction milestones.
The Results + Impact
The ongoing engagement has deployed rooftop solar across more than 100 branch locations, with system sizes generally ranging from 10 kW to 50 kW depending on site conditions. Its repeatable delivery model supports branch-opening schedules and Chase’s broader renewable energy objectives.
