Project Overview

PSG Energy Services completed a nationwide LED conversion for UPS across 370 operating facilities and approximately 45 million square feet. The project supported UPS’s facility improvement efforts by raising lighting performance, improving energy efficiency, and minimizing maintenance needs.

The Challenge

UPS needed consistent lighting upgrades across a large network of active shipping and distribution facilities. Installations had to meet internal standards without slowing daily throughput, disrupting workers, or interrupting shipping schedules. The entire 370-site program also needed to be completed within 12 months.

The Solution

PSG coordinated procurement, logistics, and installation through a centralized national program. Flexible sourcing met UPS specifications, while site-by-site scheduling and rapid regional mobilization allowed crews to work around active operations, including at union facilities.

Client Objectives

1

Improve lighting levels to support safety and productivity.

2

Cut energy consumption and future lighting maintenance needs.

3

Complete a 370-facility program without disrupting operations.
